Caretta Caretta Experience

Dalyan is a small town situated in the middle of the broad delta of Dalyan River, within a nature reserve established to preserve one of the world's most important wetland areas. Board a river boat which will cruise you down the bulrush lined delta, passing the Lycian rock tombs in the hillside on the way to the ancient Caunos site. Once a busy harbor town, ancient Caunos is next to a beautiful 6 km long beach with which is the breeding ground of the Caretta-Caretta turtles. You’ll journey down river to the sandy beach of Iztuzu, famous for being the turtle breeding ground. At the end of your sail on the river, you’ll have lunch at a local restaurant in Dalyan. The tour ends with the return drive to Fethiye.
