This tour is an introduction to Sinop. Tour will start with a visit of the Sinop City Walls, which surrounds the city for more than 10 square kilometers. Then proceed to the Citadel, which was built in 2000 BC by Gaskals and used by Greeks, Pontus, Byzantines, Seljuk’s and Ottomans. The Prison was built in 1214 by the Seljuks. The tour continues with the Sinop Museum, which has the largest collection of the region of ethnographic icons and pieces from Hellenistic, Roman and Byzantium Period. Next, you will drive to Akliman and Hamsilos Fiords which are great wonders of nature where one can see sea animals and plants, fossils and seashells.
